3 Air pressure is the result of the weight of the air column pushing on you.

4 What instruments measure air pressure?
A barometer is an instrument that measures air pressure. The two types are: 1.) Mercury barometer 2.) Aneroid barometer

5 How does altitude effect air pressure and density?
As altitude (the distance above sea level) increases: Pressure decreases Density decreases
