Language Arts – Letters G & H (handwriting / letter recognition / sign language / sound / song); Color Word: Black; Writing our first and last names using the correct uppercase and lowercase letters; literature about fall, shapes and spiders; knowing the difference between letters, words, and sentences.
Math – Correct digit formation for numbers 0-10; Shape: Oval; Patterns
Science – Fire Safety
This week we were busy little bees trying to crunch 5 days of activities into 4! We started the week with Mrs. Noel for an assembly about Devon’s 1st service project of the year: Trick or Treat for UNICEF. A paper will be coming home to explain the project. October is also Fire Safety Month so we kicked off our unit with a science lesson in the lab! Next week is all about pumpkins including our grand finale on Friday: Pumpkin Extravaganza!
