2. Going for breast test
When you get to the clinic you will meet the Receptionist
Show her your letter
She will ask you some questions
There is a waiting room for you to sit down in
You may have to wait for a while

3. Can I take a friend?
You can bring a friend, support worker or family member with you
They can stay with you while you are waiting

4. Getting changed
A Radiographer will call you when you need to get changed
You will be asked to go through to another waiting area
Your friend, support worker or family member can stay with you while you are waiting

5. Getting Changed You will be asked to get changed in the changing room
You will need to wear a cape
You can put your clothes in a basket
When you are ready you can sit and wait in the waiting room

6. Filling in a Form You may be asked to fill in a form
If you need help you can ask your friend, support worker or family member
Or you can ask for one of the Breast Test Wales staff to help you

7. Having your X Ray
The Radiographer will call you through to another room where they take the x-ray
You have had one of these before
Your friend /support worker may be able to come with you but you will have to ask

8. While you are waiting After your x ray you can go to the waiting area
You can have a drink or a look at a magazine
You can wait here until a Nurse calls you
Your friend, support worker or family member can wait with you

9. What happens next?
It might be a little while before you get to see the Doctors and Nurses
Some people take longer than others
