2 Figure 1 Twi12 Directs Xrn2 Exonuclease to the Nucleus and Stimulates Its Activity Upon loading with tRNA 3′ fragments (red), Twi12 forms a complex with Xrn2 and Tan1 (TXT). The exonucleolytic activity of Xrn2 and TXT import into the macronucleus depend on the association with Twi12.
