4. Improve on the heat resistance elements on the roof by requiring insulation of polystyrene as per the recommended standards. Roof insulation of certain thickness as recommended by the approved standards shall be required. 19. The building law is a mandatory document that needs to reflect and address the contemporary concerns of environmentally friendly building. Importance of third party entities to verify building systems. The building law should allow for the future developments of sustainable concepts. It is imperative to ensure conserving energy and water consumption by inspecting the proposed systems (HVAC systems consume electricity and it is important to control such system) and their adherence to the standards.
