Are There Mayans Left Today - Charles
According to online articles, Mayans do exist today. These people can be found commonly in Mexico and Central America on the Yucatan Peninsula. They are also found in Belize and Guatemala. There are over 4 million Mayans in our population today Although Mayans still exist today, their ethnic markers are often abandoned due to their integration into national economies.

Mayans played very dangerous ballgames In the game, they played with a rubber ball that weighed 8 pounds Players rammed into each other Mayans had saunas They would pour water onto heated rocks for steam

Why We Think the Mayans Left
Eunice: I think the Mayans left because they used up all their resources. Nick: I think the Mayans left because of a drought, and also because the Mayans used all their resources. Insu: I think that the Mayan Society collapsed because of the king’s bad decisions. Charles: I think the Mayans left because war was close to happening and they wanted to stay safe. Therefore they abandoned their society to become more hidden.
