2. Friday February 24, 2016 Grand Central Terminal opened February , in New York city. People were amazed by the train stations marble staircase tall windows, and cieling painted with stars. The new electric trains were safer then older steam trains. Years later, some talked about nocking down the terminal. others fought to save it. Work was done to fix the station and bring back it’s beauty. To day, travelers enjoy this piece of history.

3. Romeo and Juliet: Act 1 Character Journals
Choose your character (Romeo, Juliet, Lady Capulet, Capulet, Benvolio, Mercutio, Paris, or the Nurse)
Write a journal entry pretending to be that character.
Summarize the events of Act I through that character’s perspective. (10 points)
Include one example of figurative language (underlined) (3 points)
Include one vocabulary word (underlined) (3 points)
Must be 16 sentences/2 paragraphs long (16 points)
Worth: 32 Points

4. Act 1 Quiz!
Remember, this is a quiz. Absolutely no talking, looking at other people’s quizzes, looking at your phone, ect. If you do, you will get one warning. Anything after that and you will receive a zero for your quiz 
Once you finish, raise your hand and I will take your quiz from you. After you finish your quiz, there is still no talking – you should work on your Act 1 Character Journal.
