Annual meeting for CACI on 10/23 – Pat will attend
CEC President’s night moved to 11/12
Jennifer asked for specific items they want us to support
Propose funding for the Colorado Science Fair for 2015

Successfully migrated the COMSOC website to wordpress. Had several lessons learned he would be interested in presenting to other chapters looking to transition over their website.
Their mission is to promote fun events that benefit the EE community and the department
They re-painted the student resource center and got new furniture
Cancelled Clouds Over the Rockies symposium with DeVry. Might consider presenting the topics at a Dine and Learn event.
Want to renovate student undergrad circuits lab .

Randy Tagg – CU Denver Physics Professor
Develped Innovation Hyperlab
Implemented in Aurora Public Schools K-12
Lab helps equip students in high school with opportunities for lab projects.
Students attend once a week.
Facility is next to Gateway HS so students can walk next door, others are bussed in for an afternoon for innovation academies.
Wants to get an electronic student lab at CU Denver
Wants a society rep to come down and do a white glove inspection of each area
Wants help from university students for mentoring
Innovation Academy is Thursday afternoons at 3pm .
