Formative Assessments to Inform Instruction
Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment System (3x/year) Assesses Accuracy, Fluency, Comprehension, and Vocabulary Module Tests for Mathematics and Science Items are coded by standard so that teachers can analyze quickly if students meet standards Variety of test items: Multiple Choice, Short Answer, and Open Response Conferring Notes (Reading and Writing) Proficiency Model What is the student able to do? What are the next instructional steps for the student?
