2. Staying on Track Do not just read off your slides!
The info on the slides should be brief and work as a guide
You should be sharing more in-depth info that elaborates on the text posted on the slide
Create notecards to help you remember more in-depth info (but don’t just read those off, either)

3. Keeping your Audience Engaged
Speak with enough volume for the whole class to clearly hear you
Don’t rush! Slow down a bit! If you speak too quickly, your audience might miss some information
Put inflection into your voice
Make eye contact with the audience, or “fake” eye contact by looking over there heads to the back of the room

4. Professional Presence
Stand up straight
Keep your body facing your audience
Practice! We all get nervous, and if you practice, you will appear more relaxed and confident (and your audience will feel more relaxed, too).
