3 City Wizard – 1. City Type Population size data refers to Population size has been assigned by the tool.

4 City Wizard – 2. City customisation
The city customisation is done based on data regarding Brasov city.

5 Set Baseline Once the first two steps are finalised, the toll presents the results of the baseline and allows us to set the scenario as baseline.

6 Target Halve the use of ‘conventionally-fuelled’ cars in urban transport by 2030 Target: Vehicles-km by conventional cars (gasoline and diesel) at 2030 Bear in mind: the numbers in the specific graph are in million vehicle-km. All the graphs have an automatic scale for a better representation, therefore the scale should be checked before interpreting the results. The target is set by the 2011 Transport White Paper.

7 Transport output vs Economic output
Evaluation Transport output vs Economic output The two results to be taken into consideration for the comparing are 1. vehicles-km by car conventional vehicle (fuel conventional) and 2. Net financial result for public administration (million euro cumulated year by year) The winner group will be the one closest to the target and with lower economic impact (or higher revenues if positive). The policies chose by the winner will be reviewed and discussed.

8 How to save your scenario

9 (for your reference only, please don’t change them for the exercise)
Advanced Settings (for your reference only, please don’t change them for the exercise) Depending on how detailed the information on the city is. If information is not available, the tool takes into consideration the imposed trends and the available information.

10 Add policies Explain each policy and the policy sets depending on the desired result.

11 Add policies Each policy has its own settings which have to be filled by the user based on the vision the user has. As it can be seen the year of implementation is a setting in common for every policy, while other settings are more specific. Most of policies have the option of advanced setting which allows to modify their impact (temper or amplify). The setting of the parameters depends on the information the user has and the desired results. Every setting has an (i) button which describes its purpose in a few words so that the user knows how to set the data and how it influences the results.

12 Pre-designed examples of policy sets
Comment the pre-designed examples one by one
