Since 2010, the prison population in Missouri has been growing at one of the fastest rates in the country and is projected to continue climbing sharply. Admissions for New Offense Convictions
Historically, people who have failed on community supervision have driven admissions to prison. PROACTIVE CASE MANAGEMENT
To avoid building new prison facilities, Missouri must increase the successful completion of community supervision—many initiatives are underway to build pathways to better supervision outcomes.
