4 Creating a Kiosk style slide show
To create a continuous running slide show in PowerPoint: Click on the Slide Show Tab. Next, click on the Set Up Slide Show button. Under Show type, select Browsed at Kiosk.

The Set up Show dialogue box should look like this. Make sure the loop continuously box is checked (default for kiosk). Make sure using timings is selected (default for Kiosk.

Next, click on the Animations tab. At the far right end of the ribbon, un-check “On Mouse Click.” Check the “Automatically After” box and set the number of seconds between each slide. You will have to do this for each slide.

Now your presentation is ready to run on it’s own without any human interaction. Video and graphics can be embedded, along with your text. It can run on a dual screen monitor system so the computer is not dedicated to just the presentation. ASSIGNMENT: Create a kiosk type presentation for a local business that can run by itself and provide information to customers. The presentation must include the following: Graphics. Information. Timings for each slide. Minimum of three slides.
