A cactus usually live in the desert well.
The desert is very dry and hot.

4. Because a cactus store a lot of water
in the thick stems.
And also its body is covered with spines.
Its spines used to be leaves.
The spines don’t need to a lot of water.
They are thin and sharp.
They prevent the plant from drying up.

5. But, some cactuses live in the Alaska and in the South pole.
They can endure in very cold weather.

6. There are many kinds of cactuses.
Some cactuses live for 300 years old.
Have you seen cactuses flowers?
Most cactuses have beautiful flowers.

Cactuses clean the air.
They remove bad air indoors.
