DESCRIPTION They have long tails more than 30 cm long. The arctic fox is a small fox native to the Arctic regions. They are critically endangered as they are hunted for their high quality fur. The average length of a female Is 50cm and weighs 3.5kg. The average length of a male is 60 cm and weighs 8kg.

HABITAT The arctic fox is found throughout the arctic tundra in Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Russia, Norway, Scandinavia and Iceland.
