What is an experiment? A test, trial, procedure

What do you do before an experiment?
Prepare yourself, goggles, jewelery, hair, list out rules, predictions!!! Create hypothesis!

What do you do during an experiment?
No horseplay! Collect, record, gather data. Observe, interact, participate. Test hypothesis.

What do you do after an experiment?
Analyze, interpret data. Clean up! Reflect on hypothesis was it wrong was it right, why? What changes are needed?

Is it important to keep track of information from an experiment? Why?
Yes! That way you can keep up with what you did and can go back to make interpretations. The usefulness of experimenting is to find something out.

What can you construct with the information gathered from an experiment?
Notes, research paper, ideas, generalizations.
