If a group activity is followed, each individual student should highlight his / her individual contribution at each stage. Remember Whatever event you intend to plan must be linked to one, or more, of the Specific Learning Outcomes (SLOs). Examples Planning a visit in to or out of the classroom. Planning a careers evening. Planning an enterprise activity (raising money). Good Practice Almost all of the document will be written in the Future Tense, except for the ‘Analysis of Research’ which will be in the Past Tense. Bullet points are permitted. 1. Title The title of the activity should be clear and concise. 2. Objectives These are the things that you or your group hope to achieve by undertaking the named activity. Marks given for two. Include three to be safe. If it is a group activity, each participant must identify a personal objective for himself / herself. 6. Schedule of Time Here students should set out the timeframe in which the activity will run. It will include how much time should be allotted to each activity and any deadlines that must be met. 8. Evaluation Methods Refer back to the beginning of the plan and link your individual evaluations to each one of the objectives. For example If one of the objectives was to raise €200 for ‘Concern’, then the evaluation for that point might go as follows; This event will be a success if we raise at least €200 for Concern.
