Hours of operation: Any time the center is closed, to include evenings, holidays, weekends.

3. CCRI Functions Overview
Triage – determines the needs of callers and offering appropriate treatment options
On-site Calls – assessing and addressing patients’ psychiatric needs in their natural environment as requested by family members, neighbors, patients themselves, treatment providers, law enforcement, EMS, etc.
Telehealth Calls – assessing and addressing patients’ psychiatric needs as requested by EMS when there is no primary care need.
Community Liaison- Coordinating care for patients throughout the community in order to improve treatment and continuity of treatment.

5. Capabilities limitations Cannot transport individuals
Can facilitate both voluntary and involuntary admissions to hospitals 24/7
Will always respond to scenes when requested by law enforement, unless person is intoxicated
Can connect patients to outpatient resources
Ensure continuity of care for open CMHC patients
Note: Facilitation of involuntary commitment may not be available in all areas
Cannot transport individuals
Cannot respond to scenes as quickly as law enforcement/EMS – NO BLUE LIGHTS!
Cannot assess intoxicated individuals in the “field”
