3 How to record the results
Although it is important to ensure results are accurate, it is not necessary for the teacher to do all the work! A Wall Chart If each classroom can have a chart, pupils will be able to input their own results as they achieve a new personal best. This is a great way to emphasis the importance of practice and progression. Individual Score Cards Pupils will record their own or alternatively record other pupil’s results. At the end of the lesson or break the cards can be handed in to the teacher and the results collated. Sending the Results to the Competition Manager All results will be sent to the competition Co-ordinator (Hayley Pegg) via , therefore the results will have to be saved electronically (via attached Excel document). Teachers or other school staff may be willing to take on this responsibility; however this is a great opportunity to make the project cross-curricular. After using the class results sheet (on slide 4) or the Individual results sheet (on slide 5) pupils could be asked to each input their BEST scores on to the attached Excel master spreadsheet which includes the entire class results and also the top ten positions, enabling them to practice their ICT skills. Completed Excel Spreadsheets should be ed to the Competition Co-ordinator:
