If the chance of having a boy or girl were the same, would you expect there to be more days on which at least 60% of the babies born were boys in a large hospital or a small hospital? The large hospital, because there are more babies, so there can be more boys. The large hospital, because there is more variability in the proportion of boys among larger samples. The small hospital, because there is more variability in the proportion of boys among smaller samples. The small hospital, because most small hospitals will have more than 50% boys. No difference because they are both random events.
