The “Discovery Wall” allows for real time field trip experience without leaving the children’s center at the downtown library. For the majority of children (K-12), this technology will provide life changing exposure to places they might otherwise not visit. The library provides an average of three trips weekly to reach approximately 20,000 school children annually and teaches natural gas safety with videos, coloring pages and safety bookmarks provided by Atmos Energy .
