2. Beef and Veal Day January 5 - 12, 2019
In its 103rd year, the PA Farm Show attracts people of all ages to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for the largest indoor farm show in the United States.
The Beef Checkoff Veal Promotions program partnered with the Pennsylvania Beef Council to support “Beef and Veal Day” at the Farm Show. This exciting event draws thousands of consumers to watch chefs create delicious beef and veal recipes and serve samples to the audience.
Fifty-Eight (58) surveys were conducted at the Farm Show Culinary Stage during “Beef and Veal Day”.
The intended use of the information gathered is to better shape our veal promotions program along with sharing the results with state beef councils, producers, packer processors and other industry leadership.
Distribution will include posting the results on the resource section of the veal made easy website and inclusion of a survey link in the industry newsletter.
