How are can I find the area of a regular polygon? Objective: Students will be able to find area of regular polygons.

3 parts center radius: (AB or AD)
apothem: (AC) distance from the center to any side of the polygon central ∡: (∡BAD) an ∡ formed by radii drawn to two consecutive vertices of the polygon

4 area of a regular polygon
The area of a regular polygon is ½ the product of the apothem & the perimeter.
