Helps long term with recruiting and promotion Gives their friends and family the chance to celebrate from a distance

Celebrate PRs We don’t just celebrate gold medals, we cheer for PRs!
Helps kids have a growth mindset Gives JV kids the feeling of being as important as Varsity We do various rewards for PRs, like starburst, Sonic drinks, Gatorades or steak dinners

Thrower BBQ Backyard games Food Celebrates accomplishments of the season Group weightlifting Common time together for different events to know who each other are Good for announcing PRs and other throw specific information Weightroom competitions Games involved in team warm-ups Trading off of responsibilities for implement maintenance

How Do We Share 65+ Throwers in 2 Hours?
Spreadsheets!!! We do 35 minute rotations for each group. Most of our kids only throw 2 events For the 3 event kids, we have them throw 2 events a day. The third rotation for each kid is a drills-based station We usually announce throwing groups during weights

Light Atmosphere We try to keep things light and enjoyable. Even when we drill, drill, drill, we are trying to keep things light enough for the kids to not dread it. They understand there is a time for fun and a time for focus. In the end, each athlete feels a part of the thrower family. That is what we become...FAMILY.
