8 Election of 1912 TR upset that Taft allows business men to buy public land in Alaska. Feels betrayed. Decides to run against Taft as a member of “Progressive Party” Teddy says “I feel as strong as a “Bull Moose” So there will be 3 candidates in the election: President Taft TR Woodrow Wilson, Democrat Governor of New Jersey

But split the votes of the Republican Party, Allowing democrat Woodrow Wilson to win The election.

He would later be appointed chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and he Liked that much better than being President. He is known as the greatest Chief Justice We have ever had.
