A wheel spins slowly to a stop. Beside it, two bodies are slumped on the ground. A small crowd is gathering as a uniformed figure crouches over to inspect the bodies. What has happened?

EXPLAIN that:-
they will be given a problem to solve
think of ONE question EACH to ask
you can confer with each other
only question they cannot ask is ‘What has happened?’
SHOW above slide
FLIP UP questions, as delegates shout them out:-
put closed questions in one ( untitled) column, and open questions in another
don’t answer any questions until all are listed
ANSWER questions in CLOSED column first, then the OPEN questions, to reveal what happened.
SOLUTION:
The wheel was a roulette wheel. The 2 bodies had collapsed in shock. One is the casino owner (who has lost a fortune). The other is a customer (who has won the jackpot). Uniformed figure is a croupier. Crowd are other customers.
