1. Jay and Fays Story

2. Jay and Fay lived at home with their mummy.

3. Mummy wasn’t very well and some grown ups came to see her at home to help her.
One day mummy felt really unwell and the doctor said they needed to look after her in hospital.

4. Jay and Fay stayed at home where Nanny and Aunty Trudi looked after them.
Mummy loves Jay and Fay very much and wants to come home and look after them.

5. Vicky and other grown ups whose job it is to keep children safe, wanted to make sure Jay and Fay are safe and happy.
They are going to talk to a judge who is like a wise owl and can help make safe decisions for children. The judge will listen to what Jay and Fay want, what mummy wants, and what the social workers Vicky and Hannah thinks is best for Jay and Fay.

6. The judge will make a decision about the safest place for Jay and Fay to live. Vicky, Hannah and other people think this is with Aunty , whilst mummy gets better. And while Vicky and other people who care about Jay and Fay decide whether they can go home to their mummy.
