Ask for help Identify trusted adults Develop social skills Develop emotional intelligence Develop problem solving skills Programme delivered in nurseries by trained staff. Developed in consultation with Community Education and Early Years workers. Widely used in Nurseries and early years establishments across Scotland and the UK – 610 Doesn’t mention alcohol – focus is on asking for help being a positive behaviour, developing social skills, and helping children to identify and regulate emotions. Developed in consultation with Community Education and Early Years workers.– Training - 4hr session – Alcohol build confidence Website for trained nursery staff – network/ share good practice/ access new additional materials/support Children aged 3-5 years Aim: Build resilience and protective factors In using Oh Lila we aim to help children:

Build resilience and protective factors in children, young people and families by: Helping them identify sources of help and support. Developing their emotional intelligence Developing their problem solving skills Developing their social skills Helping them feel less confused and guilty about what may be happening. Helping them understand the recovery journey and the challenges that may bring.
