This induction is to welcome you to S6, increasing your understanding of the year ahead and to help prepare you for the year.
Where?
Hillhead High School & St Silas Church.
Why?
To create a positive culture for the year ahead.

S6 Option Form (2nd Draft)
You will be split into your registration classes and go to the following locations at the start of Period 3.

6D T07 Miss Hewitt
6E T08 Mr Neil
6F T09 Mr Griffin

12. S6 induction: Information Choices
You will be given a white form. Please complete the form before handing them back to your teacher. Mark clearly with your name and registration class.
You must select one choice in each column. You must not select the same choice in two different columns.
Please note that subjects can not be moved column. AH requests should be placed at the bottom of the sheet.
The choices you make today will form your individual timetable until the summer holidays. Subject choices may change based on your exam results in August.

13. S6 induction: Information S6 Leadership Team
The S6 Leadership Team is increasing to 10 pupils for 2018/19.
The S6 Leadership Team will consist of 2 School Captains, 2 Vice-Captains and 6 Prefects.
During Period 3 you should write down up to 8 names of pupils who you think have the skills and qualities required for taking on an S6 Leadership Team position.
Staff will also nominate.
It is hoped that formal interviews will take place before the summer holidays.

14. S6 induction: Information S6 Committees
This year all S6 pupils will be part of a committee which will drive forward improvement across S6 and the whole school. These committees will also have a teacher attached to them and be led by the S6 Leadership Team. During Period 3 you will select your top 3 choices.
Involvement in the committees will allow the following skills to be developed:
