Ideally spouses will be good for one another and good to one another (Proverbs 31:10-12; 1 Samuel 1:8)

3. Helpmates to Heaven…
Are faithful to one another (1 Corinthians 7:2-5; 6:18; Matthew 5:31-32)
Respect one another (Ephesians 5:28-33; Peter 3:6-7; 1 Corinthians 13:4-5)
Strive to understand one another (1 Peter 3:7)
Sacrifice for one another (Ephesians 5:24-25)
Influence each other to obey God (1 Corinthians 7:12-16; 1 Peter 3:1-2)
Help their children go to heaven (Genesis 18:19; Malachi 2:15)
