What is DOD SKILLBRIDGE?

DoD SkillBridge allows Service Member to participate in:
A Civilian Training Program An Apprenticeship An Internship Programs

DoD Skillbridge Eligibility for Service Members
Completed at least 180 continuous days on active duty Discharged 180 days of starting training opportunity Approval from Command, which can also terminate participation Voluntary and member initiated Not eligible to receive wages

Continued… Successfully passed recent PFA
Recommended for advancement and retention on recent Evaluation Completed TGPS requirements Ethics brief or DoD approved training within 12 months Not completed or terminated from an employment skills training program

Dod Skillbridge Eligibility for Training Providers
Offers high probability of employment Little or no cost Provide skills required in the civilian world Not create conflict of interest Not eligible to receive compensation

Skillbridge Benefits Multiple employer training programs
Most service members participating will received jobs Get prequalified in a skill Have training and experience
