1. Criteria for Admission in 1st Year Engineering
Minimum percentage in HSC: 50%
For CET ranks are considered while taking admission.
It is advised to check DTE’s official website:
Registration form must be submitted along with HSC , SSC, CET, JEE , result (scanned copy for all the documents).
Forms can be edited after filling once.
Only Gujarati quota no Jain Quota.

2. Contd.
If form is submitted under TFWS category then changes can be done only for one week.
If OBC category is selected then TFWS will not be applicable.

3. FC Center
Area of residence and admission place doesn’t need to be same.
At FC center verification of documents to be registered must be done.
An Intimation copy will be stamped and provided by the FC center.

4. CAP Round 1 Form 50 Colleges must be filled in 1st round.
Colleges has to be filled according to students preference and must be filled carefully up to 20 rest can be filled randomly.
Once first list is displayed on the website, students will have 3 options- freeze, float and slide.
If student selects freeze or float or slide visit FC center to confirm your chosen option.
Documents provided by FC center must be carried by student while taking admission.
Payment of Rs.5000/- needs to be done at FC center via DD or Online (information will be provided on the website).

5. CONTD.
If float or slide option is selected then wait for option form 2.
Float or slide can be done up to 3rd list.
In 4th list only Gov. college will be available.
Institutional from will be displayed after 3rd list.
In certain colleges offline forms will be available, for rest of the college it is available online.

6. Scholarship (anyone of the following is permissible)
EBC (Earning backward class)
Income certificate is a must
Eligibity 60% of the tution fess is returned.
Minority scholarship
Point remains same .
25,000 is refunded.
EBC,OBC – Half tuition fee is refunded.
SC,NT – NO tuition fee is to be paid (only 10 – 15k is to be paid for stationery)
Jain, Muslim, Parsi –Rs.25,000/- From Govt.
