1 General design notes. A note on the design and layout
Each slide has additional design notes in the PowerPoint note field at the bottom of the slide. The slides in this presentation are designed as templates and guides. The primary colour palette is red, silver (grey) and black. White always predominates to give the presentation a clean, contemporary feel. Black is used sparingly. The primary colour palette is for all outward facing communications; a secondary palette will become available soon for internal presentations. All images in this design guide are © and for layout purposes only. You may place your own images and graphics into the presentation. Pictures should never occupy more than approximately one third of the visual area. General design notes. All text should be in Verdana, ideally in a mid grey (60% black). You are at liberty to use a range of type sizes which suits the requirements of the presentation.

We recommend Partner logos appear in grey (50% black). Partner logos must always be placed at bottom left of slide, and must never dominate the Business Connexion logo. Because it is impossible to predict future logo placement, the size is to some extent discretionary. Ideally the partner logo will be two thirds the visual weight of the Business Connexion logo. Ideally partner logos should appear as 50% grey, but full colour logos may appear as long as the above size relationship is maintained. Partner logos are placeholders only. Logo height maximum as indicated. 6mm from page centre Preferred type area Place text and graphics in the blue area Partner logos: Maximum 5 dot measure
