1. Rumble Fish Chapter 13
I figured if I didn’t see Steve again, I’d start forgetting again, But it’s been taking me longer than I thought it would.
After I saw Steve head to the Sugar Shack, I got up and dusted the sand off of my pants and headed to the parking lot....
Choice 1: I jumped on my motorcycle and headed north towards Hollywood to find my mother
Choice 2: I jumped on my motorcycle and headed east to take care of some unfinished business.

2. As I headed north towards Hollywood to find my Mother...
I was riding my motorcycle up into the Hollywood hills. The last thing I remembered before the crash was the lights on the stop lights all turning to a gray color. I was going to fast and could not slow down. A car crossed the intersection and I went straight into the side of it and flew over the hood.
When the ambulance arrived I couldn’t hear a thing. They loaded me in and took me to the worst place they could have...
The Hospital

3. When I awoke in the hospital...
My head was killing me. I had a terrible headache. I hit the call button and a nurse came in. I asked her for some pain pills, when suddenly I was taken back. She looked familiar, like I had seen her fifteen years ago. She had cherry red hair and a stern face, just like my brother and me. “Hello Russell James. Strange meeting you here after all these years.”
The Nurse was my mother!!

4. After all was said and done, I felt...
Totally surprised that I would find my mother in one of the places I hated the most. I would have never thought to look for her in a hospital. The car accident must have been fate. I had some many questions to ask at that moment, but I was feeling woozy from the pills and knocked out.

5. As I headed back home to take care of some unfinished business
I noticed a pet store about a mile out of town. I went inside to see if they had fish… rumble fish to be exact. To my surprise they had two. Both were in separate tanks looking at each other and pacing back and forth in their bowls.
I bought the two fish, and they were put in separate bags. The fish were eyeballing each other the whole time. I had one thing on my mind...
To get them to the river.

6. I wondered if the fish would fight in the river
I finally got to the river’s edge. The fish were rumbling in their separate bags and swimming back and forth. I had no idea what would happen when they were out of the bags and placed in the river.
I set both bags down, untied the knot and set them free. They immediately swam at each other and…

7. After all was said and done,
The fish rushed towards each and circled one another. They went round and round in circles for what felt like forever. In the end though, they went their own separate ways. One swam up stream, and the other went down stream.
