In 2000: City of Cincinnati held meeting to discuss noise March 2001: City held weight to 70,000 lbs. This restricts many corporate jets August 2003: City council proposed to steer the master plan committee to their side May 2004: City council delayed vote on commercial service –approved weight and length

Create an airport authority-not City Council Have city finalize the Part 150 noise study Remove current restraints Remove weight restrictions Provide corporate accommodations

5 Noise Newer aircraft are quieter than the older aircraft
Fewer flights at Lunken Recent studies proved noise around Lunken is smaller and shrinking Pilots are committed to minimize noise impact for surrounding neighborhoods

6 Expansion Weight limit: From 70,000 to 100,000 lbs. Lengthen Runway:
To 6,100 to 7,000 feet Construction: complete new T-hanger project Allow larger aircraft

7 Property Values The largest gains in property values are in the neighborhoods immediately surrounding Lunken California +27.7% Mt. Lookout +20.6% Linwood +18.0%
