Note: We have a possible shirt! It will cost us $17, but it is a nice polo shirt. It would have saved us just $5 for a T-shirt , so I think a polo makes more sense (it can be semi-professional or casual, depending on what we want). Logical Fallacy of the Day
Appeal to Pity Fallacy These are very common… Distract from a problem by appealing to sympathy / pity Example? Cop pulls woman over; She cries about how bad life is, and (infers) that she shouldn’t get a ticket. This doesn’t argue whether the apparent ticket is valid or not, just that you should take pity and let her off.
