1. Freeflow Advanex Innovation Roadshow – a breath of fresh AIR
Advanex Europe had our first Innovation Roadshow at one of Europe’s largest device moulder and assembly premises yesterday, displaying a range of products from coil and torsion springs through to group products such as insert moulding and hinges.
Based on the success of the Group Honeybee Tours the Advanex Innovation Roadshow (AIR), has initially been aimed at engineers working in the Medical & Pharmaceutical device industry.

AEU’s success in the MediPharm market has been based around our design assistance expertise from the initial concept stage allowing us to work with the customer to achieve the optimum design for their device.

Paul Clifford said “ The Advanex Innovation Roadshow is an excellent platform to demonstrate our Advanex Group core products and is also an opportunity for our engineering and sales team to connect to the people designing the products of the future”.
Advanex also showcased some original ideas for packaging solutions for high volume users of compression springs who encounter tangling issues on their automated assembly equipment.
The competition based around the impressive Advanex Micro Spring range attracted a lot of attention and proved to be very popular. Visitors were asked to guess the number of micro springs which in test tubes. The nearest correct answer won a Kindle E-reader.
The team are already planning the next AIR event to another major medical house with a strong research and development presence and will continue to promote the Advanex brand throughout.
