So what are your thoughts now? What does being British really mean? “Showing pride, respect and being proud of living in the UK. It also means showing knowledge and respect for the royal family and drinking lot of tea!” “I think that being British means that you are proud of the country you live in. It does not matter if you weren't born there or your family aren't from there."

British Values… What are these? What does this phrase mean?
In a school, teaching British values means providing a curriculum which ‘actively promote(s) the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs’. democracy the rule of law individual liberty mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith So nothing to do with cricket!
