Economic Systems - Capitalism
Business decisions made by individuals People buy/sell as they wish Create whatever you want Variety of companies Creates competition Keeps prices low You own a lemonade stand, set your prices, and get enough money for two stands

Economic Systems - Communism
You own a stand, but the government takes the stand and sets the prices, tells you how much to produce, and forces everyone else to work at the lemonade stand too Government owns everything and makes all business decisions Nobody can own their own business All people in theory are equal because they all work as a community

Economic Systems - Socialism
Government and the people make business decisions together Government tries to narrow income gap between rich and poor Equal opportunities You have a lemonade stand, the government makes you give lemons to your neighbor so they can have a stand too
