Images of a 38-year-old man with malignant lymphoma diagnosed by endobronchial ultrasound guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA). (A) An EBUS image of the right lower paratracheal lymph node (LN) adjacent to the azygos vein. The EBUS-TBNA was performed to the right lower paratracheal lymph node. (B) Pathology on hematoxylin & eosin staining was suggestive of malignant lymphoma. (C) Immunohistochemistry with CD3 staining was negative. (D) L26 staining was positive on immunohistochemistry. (Original magnification ×400 for B, C, D.) Thus, the final pathologic diagnosis was diffused large B-cell type lymphoma.
