3 Figure 1 Mechanism of Daratumumab Interference in IATs. In IAT, antibodies to minor antigens on reagent RBCs are detected by agglutination (A and B). Daratumumab present in serum of patients’ receiving treatment binds to donor or reagent RBCs in IAT, causing panagglutination, which masks presence of antibodies to minor antigens (C).
