The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools
 A top prize of $10,000
The Profile in Courage Essay Contest is open for submissions.

13. Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models
Males from diverse backgrounds interested in teaching careers are eligible to apply for a scholarship up to $12,000.

14. American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship
Apply for a chance to win one of ten $2,000 scholarships!
Graduating seniors planning to attend college/trade school are eligible.

The Notes for the Future Scholarship Program, offered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (ISTS) will award scholarships of up to $1,000 to promising young musicians in the United States.
Open to high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who plan to study music in college (vocal or instrumental) and can submit an audition of a live solo performance

Must answer a scholarship question online in 250 words or less.
“What would you say to someone who thinks education doesn’t matter, or that college is a waste of time and money?”
$5,000 scholarship prize

Seniors with a 3.0 GPA and at least the minimum ACT/SAT requirements are eligible to receive an academic scholarship in the amount of $2,000-Full Tuition.

19. Davidson College Belk Scholarship
If you are extremely motivated and a bright high school senior, then you may be eligible to win full tuition, room and board, and summer stipends for 4 years.
One student per school may be nominated, so talk with your counselor today about the scholarship.
Counselor nomination deadline is November 9th and Application Deadline is December 3rd.

21. Dirk Derrick Car & Truck Accident Injury Scholarship
A $1,000 Scholarship For Those Affected By Auto Accidents
Students applying must submit an essay where you explain, present, inspire, or otherwise convince us as to why you deserve to win this scholarship.
There are no conditions or requirements for this essay. 
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is December 15th of each year.

Award amount is $500-$1,000;
