HAR TREPAC Sets a National Record
HAR has become the first local REALTOR® association in the U.S. to raise $1 million for the PAC.
HAR TREPAC surpassed the $1 million goal during the Bay Area Casino Night event last week.
This is a great example of industry leadership and a fitting tribute to Billy Burt and his legacy of support for the real estate industry in Texas.

Have You Registered to Vote?
The 2016 General Election is coming up on Tuesday, November 8.
The last day to register to vote in the General Election is Tuesday, October 11.
Early Voting runs from Monday, October 24 through Friday, November 4.
Can’t remember if you’ve registered in the past? You may use the Texas Voter Information Website that not only confirms whether you are registered, but will even allow you to search for your polling location prior to an election. The service is easy to use. All you need is a Texas driver’s license to begin.
You may complete a voter registration application online, print and mail it to the voter registrar in your county of residence. You are not registered until you have filled out the online application, printed it, and mailed it to your local county voter registrar.
The county voter registrar’s address will appear at the top of the online voter registration application once you have submitted your information from the fill-in-the blanks screen.

Houston Market Movements
As temperatures start to cool around the country, the total number of home sales cool as well. It’s just the seasonal nature of the housing market. But with household incomes on the rise within a healthy job market, that doesn't necessarily equate to a downward year-over-year trend. Continuing supply restrictions will certainly have an effect on numbers that may otherwise obviously point toward sunny day real estate. Here’s what’s happening locally:
In the Houston region, for the week ending September 18:
• New Listings decreased 0.3% to 2,485
• Pending Sales increased 15.6% to 1,803
• Closed Sales decreased 3.7% to 1,638
