The intrinsic apoptotic pathway is a balance between proapoptotic proteins, for example, Bax and Bak and antiapoptotic proteins. The intrinsic apoptotic pathway is a balance between proapoptotic proteins, for example, Bax and Bak and antiapoptotic proteins. The latter works by inhibiting Bax and Bak.
