With FREEDOM comes RESPONSIBILITY
Cell Phone/Handheld Device Policy With FREEDOM comes RESPONSIBILITY NO phones or handheld devices should be seen in the building BEFORE 2:00 pm! Keep them in your locker! You will receive ONE warning if caught with your phone/device, on or off, in your hand. After the SECOND time, your phone/device will be taken and you must remember to get if after school! The THIRD time results in a MINOR referral and the phone/device must be picked up by a parent/guardian from the office between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm! If this is an ongoing problem, your phone/device will automatically be sent to the office for parent/guardian pick-up and a MAJOR referral issued! If there is an emergency that requires a phone, talk to your teacher or go to the office!
15
Lockers If you can, practice opening a combination lock at home. The more you can practice with this type of lock, the easier opening your locker at school will be. Keep your locker combination to yourself! Don’t give it to anyone but your advisory teacher.
16
Lockers Some locks are tricky. You may find you have to tug harder, lean on your locker a bit, or jiggle the latch to coax it open. If nothing works, ask for help.
17
Lockers Memorize your combination. If you choose to write it down, write it someplace safe or hidden. Also, don't write your combination in the same place as your locker number. NEVER SHARE YOUR LOCKER COMBINATION WITH OTHERS!
18
Lockers When you're done getting your books or anything you need out, close the locker shut & turn it to zero to begin clearing it. But stop after you have turned it 2 or 3 times. It saves time. By clearing your locker instead of leaving it on the last number, it prevents other people from opening it.
