3. The Background
Context : Israel partly victorious now subdued under the Philistines 1 Sam 13
Jonathan King Saul's son stirred up by God inspires his Armour bearer to join him and attack the Philistine main Garrison 1 Sam 14: 1- 15
They win a great Victory which King Saul and his army + Others join in to consolidate 1 Sam 14: 16-52

4. Text 1 Sam 14:1 “ Come let us go OVER”
Luke 8:22 Jesus: ( Go OVER Lake to Command Storm & Confront demons)
We are INERT ( Not Willing to move ) or we INITIATE - we are Sluggish or we SET Going

5. 1: We must INVITE the challenge v1 & 10
Garrison guarded the pass a route to trade and therefore normality & freedom
NOT foolish aggression but Spirit led rising, enough is enough.
Conc: God prompts a stirred spirit to invite the challenge

6. 2: We must IGNORE the obdurate v 1
Those who are hardened against influence will talk but delay, (Vision Killers)
King Saul: Gripped by Inertia repeated same error against Goliath
Ditch the sandbags for lift off
Conc: God enables us to graciously ignore the obdurate

7. 3: We must INITIATE the advance v3
Make sure you advance Gods purpose not your own ambition
To Advance keep: Convinced Spirit- Calm Emotions- Clear Head
Present a: Clear Challenge- Honest Appraisal: God based Expectation and Optimistic Outlook
Conc: God sparks initiation to advance his kingdom

8. 4:We must INSPIRE others
Visionary's inspire vision enablers
An Enabler is a Co- Equal
Conc: God releases Inspiration raising committed enablers

9. 5: We must INTEGRATE Partners v 8-10
Language of Team 5 x We 3 x Our 2 x us
Partners are not pushed down but propelled to next level
Integrators not Isolators
Church is not doing our own thing we integrate and encourage others vision
CONC : God will help us INTEGRATE & be INTEGRATED
