What do wolves look like???
A wolf is quite large. They have strong necks and muscular chests A wolf’s body is built for its surroundings. Wolves have long, plumy tails. They have thick dense fur, for those who live in colder places.

About how big is an average wolf?
Average male wolf is about 5 to 7 feet from nose to tail tip. It is 26 to 32 inches at shoulder. Female wolves are smaller and less muscular.

How much does an average wolf weigh?
Average healthy male wolf weighs about 75 to 85 pounds Female wolves weighs about 70 to 80 pounds , unless she is pregnant with pups.

Wolves can be: Gray Black White Brown Reddish-brown Tan Sandy-brown

Steps to be taken to protect Wolves from Extinction
People have to: Stop killing wolves for trophies and rewards Stop trapping and shooting their prey Cut down less woods that are their homes Littering, or they’ll eat it and get diseases Poisoning their water with litter
