Best Practice Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) District review of data indicated a need to build capacity Series of 3 behavior courses offered in conjunction with GWAEA and the District Regularly scheduled coaching meetings with year 1 cohort participants to apply new learning/skills 17 participants, special education teachers, facilitators and GWAEA rep

Restraint Student Update Seclusion/Restraint Forms (including Debriefing form & process) Mandt changes - increased efficacy of technical portion of training Renewal process has an on-line component Continue to customize and create “new” presentations for the material Increased efficacy of seclusion room inspections (4x a year)

Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM)/Accessible Educational Materials(AEM) District AEM Steering Committee (meets 3x a year/representation from GWAEA/LEA) Development of District Purchasing Standards for all curriculum materials purchased by CCSD Ongoing Professional Learning-Access to Core: AEM for All Access to core is not just being given the grade level material… access to core is being able to most fully process / participate / interact / engage with that grade-level material. Presented at ITEC/Building Bridges/and International Conference ATIA in January U of IA and other districts/ AEAs visiting to learn about our systems and usability
