2 Figure 1 Unifying Pathogenic Scenario for Aberrant p25/Cdk5-Mediated Neurodegeneration Abnormal production of p25 and activation of Cdk5 may be linked to Parkinson's disease (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), ischemia, and Alzheimer's disease (AD). The role of p25/Cdk5 in each of these different conditions has been related to unique signaling events as indicated.
