Richard Parker is the name of several real life people that were cannibalized at sea
1846 – The Francis Spaight foundered at sea. Richard Parker was one of the drowning victims 1884 – The Mignonette sank. Four Survivors in a lifeboat. They killed a 17 year old cabin boy named Richard Parker for food. July 5, 1884 – Parker went into a coma…they put a penknife in his jugular and killed him. They were rescued on 7/29
